It is with great pleasure that I reintroduce Max Kriger and Kevin Snyder to CSL!  Max and Kevin will both be working with Staci Hiller on Care and Development of Campers and Staff.  Max will be focused on Camper Care, while Kevin on Staff Development.

Originally from Medina, NY, this will be Kevin's fifth summer at CSL. Kevin arrived at CSL in 2012 as a Tennis Specialist and Cayuga Counselor, before moving to Tuscarora as a counselor in 2013 and 2014. In 2015, Kevin was the Athletics Director before taking a summer away from Camp in 2016.  After graduating from Allegheny College in 2014, Kevin started working in boarding schools. Currently, Kevin is the 9th Grade History Teacher, Head Varsity Boys and Girls Tennis Coach, and House Parent at the Ross School, in East Hampton, NY. Here's what Kevin had to say about returning to CSL:

"After being away from CSL last summer, I am so thrilled to be able to return this summer. Camp is such a special place where I learned so much and grew as a young adult into the person that I am today. I am looking forward to working with the staff all summer and helping them grow and develop in their own way. Our staff has always been top notch and I cannot wait to get to work with this year's group!"

Max was born in Rochester, NY and graduated from Brighton High School. He was both a camper and staff at CSL from 1997-2015. Max was a member of Tusc 2004 - Aaron Cantor was Unit Head and Ari Baum a Counselor. Some of his positions as a staff member included Bunk Counselor, Programming Specialist, Assistant Program Director and Unit Head (Cayuga and Mohawk). Max has two degrees in education, a Bachelors degree from Syracuse ('11) and a Masters degree from Brockport ('15). Between degrees he spent time in Florida teaching at an elementary school. He is working to finish his second year at a boarding school in Long Island where he is a teacher, basketball coach and house parent.  Here's what Max had to say about returning to CSL

"Camp has the magical ability to empower campers and staff. It is a blessing to be able to return for another summer and experience this magic. Being a part of the Camper Care team will provide wonderful opportunities to support campers and staff to ensure a safe, meaningful and fun summer. See you soon, CSL!"

We will continue to announce Staffing throughout the Winter/Spring.

See You Soon
