Hello everybody! The final week of CSL is always jam packed with lots going on! First we had Campstock festival which is our version of a talent show. There was no shortage of Onondagan performances, including dances and singing.

“For Campstock I sang a song while my friend did gymnastics. I sang Uptown Funk. I was kind of nervous but glad I did it!” - Morgan C.

On Sunday night we had our Tiyul or campout. We hiked to the Mohawk Field to set up camp. With the help of the Tiyulim staff we cooked dinner and s’mores on a fire.

“For our Tiyul we slept on the M-field. I got to sleep in a tent with my friends. My favorite part was the s’mores. Instead of graham crackers and chocolate we used chocolate chip cookies!” - Maya R.

To the campers surprise, the campout led right into Onondaga day. After wake up, we had a waffle bar for breakfast. We then headed to the pool for a pool party. Then, we got on the bus and headed to Canandaigua. We enjoyed quesadillas by the water before going bowling. After, we got ice cream, which is always the favorite part of the day.  We then went to Geneva for a scavenger hunt and pizza. When we returned to camp, we tie-dyed. The night ended watching Moana, a village favorite. Overall, it was a fantastic Onondaga day!

“I loved my first Onondaga day! I was so surprised when we walked back to the village and found out it was today. My favorite part of the day was getting ice cream. I got cookies and cream and it was bigger than my face!” - Macey H.

Camp is flying by so fast but there is still lots more to come this week!
