Session 2 is coming to a close!

But this session has been full of fun, excitement and memories! Cayuga has had so many enjoyable moments this session that it's impossible to name them all. From minor things such as chanting in the dining hall too doing RoofBall tournaments in the village. Or the bigger events such as Cayuga day and Color War. The campers this session have been known for their smiling faces and endless laughter.

The final full day was during Shabbat, so it was a very chilled day. Breakfast in the village and services over looking the lake. After this we had lunch, and as a village we started to pack and get ready to leave the following day. We still had fun by watching and coaching the Seneca Soccer league final game.

The final banquet was the send off Marilyn Levin who has been leading the kitchen for over 20years! It was also a request from her to wear pajamas! The dining hall was decorated with lights and pictures from both sessions.

Cayuga Unit Head, Alex Kinel, had this to say:

Wow. Can't believe the summer is already over. Session 2 was a total blast. The kids were amazing and really helped me have the best summer I could've possibly had. I want to thank all of the staff for all the hard work they put into this summer. I would also like to thank these Cayugan Cubs for making summer 2017 one I will never forget.

This summer has been life changing for not just me, but the staff and campers too. CSL 2017 may of ended physically, but mentally it is always with us. The memories we made, the laughs we shared and the friends we made. This camp session may be over, but this summer will stay with me forever.

Thank you CSL for the most memorable time of my life, and letting me meet all these incredible kids and friends. Cayuga has been a blessing to not just me but anyone who has been a part of the village that is Cayuga.

Signing off for one final time!
